Photographic Exhibition

From the 12th to the 28th January, an exhibition of photographs will be displayed in the library at Chelsea & Westminster. The photographs, a series entitled ‘Devon – A Sound Mind’ by photographer Kris Allen, depict the life of Devon Marston, a musician, actor and charity worker, who suffers from Schizophrenia. The series has been publically displayed in conjunction with last year’s World Mental Health Day, and have been featured in The Guardian. A selection of photographs can be seen at the link below.

Drop-in session – w/b 06/10

The library’s drop-in training sessions for the week beginning 6th October 2008 will cover database search skills. The sessions are scheduled for 1300-1330 on Monday 6th and Friday 10th October.

Food and Drink in the Library

From 1st October 2008, only drinks in re-sealable bottles will be allowed to be consumed in the library. No other food or drink will be permitted. Anyone with food or drinks not in re-sealable bottles will be asked to either dispose of their items or to leave the library.

Drop-In Training Sessions

The library will be running a series of drop-in training sessions starting on 29th September for trust staff. These will cover a variety of topics that can be used to aid professional research, professional development and lifelong learning. Sessions will be run on Monday and Thursday from 1.00pm, will last approximately half an hour, and will be open to all grades of clinical and non-clinical staff, although some sessions may be geared to staff with different levels of experience. Although the sessions will be drop-in, there is limited space available, so it is advised that places be booked in advance. Library Opening Hours – September 2008

The library has returned to its regular opening hours from 1st September 2008:

Mon-Thur: 0900-2100
Fri: 0900-2000
Sat: 0900-1700

The library will be closed all day on Monday 8th September for a staff training event. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.

CW Library Opening Hours

The library is currently operating its summer opening hours throughout August.

Mon-Fri: 09.00-18.00
Sat: Closed

The library will return to standard opening hours from Monday 1st September.
