Fines
Fines are charged on overdue medical videos and items recalled for other users.
Borrowers with outstanding fines of more than £4.00 will have their library record blocked and borrowing privileges revoked until the items are returned and the outstanding payment made in full.
Fines on items reserved by other readers are applied from the day after the overdue notice is sent. All copies are recalled, and when the hold has been satisfied, the fine will stop accruing, otherwise it will increase at weekly intervals until the book is returned.
